Huda Beauty's Mercury Retrograde palette has launched and oh WOW.
In what might be the most inspired name for a makeup launch ever, Huda Kattan's Mercury Retrograde eyeshadow palette was unveiled on social last night.
Unsurprisingly, beauty fans everywhere went into absolute meltdown sharing their love for the 18-shade strong offering.
This particular product was a long time in the making with Kattan making sure each and every shade was perfectly pigmented, not the easiest of tasks with some of the paler colours.
However, after numerous reformulations, they got there in the end and Mercury Retrograde was born with the name coming from the fact that the palette was so difficult to perfect.
It caters for everyone too with mattes, metallics, one 'glitter intense' (clearly our favourite) and sheer, multi-reflective shadows.
Here's the list in full:
- Matte: Utopia, Haze, Off Balance, Libra, Crash, Momentum, Vortex, Hot Mess, Karma
- Creamy Metallics: Cosmic, Ultraviolet, Nebula, Galaxy, Supernova, Frazzled
- Glitter Intense: Nebula
- Sheer Multi Reflective Shadows: Supermoon, Gold Glitch
The palette officially launches on October 24, days before Mercury actually goes into retrograde on October 31 (until November 20 FYI so you have something to blame when everything starts going wrong).
The multi-reflective effects of these shadows and the pigments are on another level entirely and it's one beauty launch that's sure to sell out on launch day.
