Dunnes Stores has increased the price of some much-loved clothes

Dunnes Stores fans expressed their unhappiness about the price increase of their much-loved popular dupes.

We all know that Dunnes Stores has produced some fantastic clothes dupes. One is the Longchamp Tote Bag dupe, which sells for €15 in Dunnes, the original being €135.

Recently, fans have been raving about the new white boxy t-shirt, a dupe from COS.

The ‘Ultimate T-shirt’ currently sells for €10, but it didn’t always.

Content creator @iamloumc posted to TikTok about a €8 COS t-shirt dupe, calling it a must-buy.

However, fans commented that Dunnes has sneakily increased the price to €10.

In a follow-up post, she went online to show that not only has the t-shirt sold out, but the price has increased to €10.

@iamloumc even posted another video about the topic. As she was going to Dunnes Stores to exchange an item, she decided to check out the price in the shop.

Some of the t-shirts in the store still had an €8 price tag, but most of the price tags had been ripped off. 

The till scanned the item for €10, but @iamloumc could purchase it for €8.

One commenter wrote: “I noticed this! So I bought 2x sports bra at €25 (tag ripped off) but I seen the exact same one for €22. They’re so cheeky for doing that”

Another: “the scandal! I got these a few weeks back at €8 and was raving about them, the cheek to up the price”

“They are very good quality though in fairness. Very good COS dupe,” said another.

The original COS ‘Clean Cut Regular T-shirt’ currently sells for €35 online and in-store.
