STEMCELL Superfood Facial Oil, €63, Rodial
If you’re one of the many women who steer clear of facial oils, do yourself a favour and invest. Your skin will thank you for it. There are lots of options on the market, but we’ve fallen hard and fast for this new release. STEMCEL is the latest range within the Rodial offering and this hero product is packed with protective oils and omegas set to give your tired skin a treat. A little goes a very long way, so just apply 2-3 drops to a cleansed face and neck for super smooth, soft and supple skin.
Ultimate Remedy, €31.30 - €41.50, SHU UEMURA
As previously mentioned, the elements can play havoc with your poor skin. The same, sadly, applies to your hair. And what we do to it doesn’t help either. Those dye jobs, straighteners and blowdries are not as Mother Nature intended, and it can certainly show on your locks over time. If your tresses are looking a little less than terrific though, don’t freak out – help is at hand. SHU UEMURA products are not cheap, but they are good. Now the brand has brought out a line specially targeted at damaged and sensitive hair. Ultimate Remedy contains Lotus infusion from the Lotus flower, a Japanese sacred plant that’s highly concentrated in lipids. This ingredient provides intense nourishment to the hair fibre, for a soft and flexible touch. The products also contain Ceramide, a powerful cellular cement known for its repairing and reconstructing properties on the fibre. The range includes a shampoo, conditioner, mask and serum to get your locks back to lustworthy condition.
Progidal Pen, €19.95, SAMPAR
We’re suckers for a pocket-sized gadget that works a treat, and this nifty innovation from SAMPAR fits the bill perfectly. The roller pen is perfect as device to instantly sooth any skin irritations like spots, nicks and insect bites, and works to repair and heal the affected skin. Containing no preservatives, the product is 100 per cent natural, harnessing instead the power of nature with ingredients like essential oils, including lavender, sage, thyme, cinnamon, rosemary and clove. Interesting side note? This company also makes a range of ‘cosmakeup’ products for eyes and face.
SAMPAR products are available in selected Debenhams stores across the country.
