Between THAT picture of Kim Kardashian and a feature on RTÉ series What Women Want earlier this year, it's safe to assume that many Irish women will have heard of 'The Vampire Facial'.
Whether many Irish women would actually opt for it, though, is another question entirely.
The treatment, which is actually called PRP, or Platelet Rich Plasma, has been a big talking point in the beauty world for the past year or so, but you may be surprised to hear it has been carried out on these shores since 2006, when Ita Murphy of The Otto Clinic in Limerick city first offered the procedure to her clients.
